Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search Tools
A name, place, or other term entered into a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Pasco County Busted Mugshots does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's policy controls its handling of the query.
Emails and Other Messages
If you send an email or submit a message, we retain the content and contact details as needed to respond. We do not share that message outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Basic technical information may be recorded when a page loads. It can include:
- The device's Internet Protocol address.
- The browser name and version.
- The device category and operating system.
- Pages viewed and time spent on them.
- The referring website, when one is available.
- The date and time of the visit.
Cookies
Cookies help measure how visitors use the site. A browser can reject or delete cookies through its settings, although some site features may then work in a different way.
Why We Use Data
Collected data supports the site's ordinary operation. It may be used to:
- Keep pages available and responsive.
- Send a search request to the selected partner.
- Understand which records pages help visitors.
- Diagnose errors and repair technical faults.
- Display advertising that may reflect a visitor's interests.
Websites Beyond Our Control
Links may lead to the Pasco County jail roster, booking tools, the Pasco Sheriff's Office, court and corrections portals, or outside search services. After a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy rules apply.
Advertising companies may use their own technology to recognize activity across more than one site and tailor ads. That tracking occurs on their systems, not on a Pasco County government system or a records page hosted here.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal data. Information may still be processed or disclosed to:
- Search partners that receive submitted queries.
- Analytics providers that measure site use.
- Advertising networks that deliver or assess ads.
- Law-enforcement agencies or other government bodies acting under a valid legal order.
Security Has Practical Limits
We use common safeguards intended to protect data. No website, network, or storage system connected to the internet can be promised as breach-proof, so absolute security is not guaranteed.
Service Is for Adults
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If a minor submitted information, use the Contact Us page to request its deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and the data actually held, a user may:
- Ask for a copy of personal data we maintain.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Ask that eligible personal data be erased.
- Opt out of certain forms of processing.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised as practices or legal duties change. A new version takes effect when posted here with its updated effective date.
